HOW DOES ONE BEGIN TO HEAL?

When living in a disembodied society, collectively disregarding our body’s needs and desires, how does one resurrect the deep radical self-love that is necessary to surviving disease? Self-love aside, how does one even begin to understand their own body?

Especially, when everything within one’s cells, one’s muscles, one’s stomach, one’s colon, one’s rectum, one’s flesh, feels like it is falling apart…

HOW DOES ONE BEGIN TO HEAL?

How does one begin to feel whole when all they want is to crawl out of their own skin and find a new body to inhabit? Though beyond one’s own comprehension of their disease, DIS-EASE… HOW DOES ONE BEGIN TO HEAL… when access to basic medical care is an expensive product on the market and not a given human right? HOW DOES ONE BEGIN TO HEAL…? I… emerging out of an assertive crisis with Ulcerative Colitis… once again ask: HOW DOES ONE BEGIN TO HEAL?
